Transportation:
Transportation to and from Bozeman, Montana. Bozeman’s airport has service from three major cities, Denver, Salt Lake City, & Minneapolis. The ranch is located 50 miles from Bozeman. Arrangements for hunters arriving from Billings can be made. Individuals arriving from Billings will be charged an additional $200 dollars for transportation fees. Group rates from Billings can be negotiated on a per case basis.

Food & Lodging:
Hunters will experience true western hospitality while hunting with Nelson Story Archery Hunts. Meals are hardy and robust, and a notch or two better than most other guided camps, as the camp cooks comes with a culinary background. Three meals are served daily with lunch typically being a sack lunch eaten high on a mountain ridge. It will be one of the best dining views you ever experience. Snacks and additional goodies will also be provided. You will also find a nice selection of beer, wine, hard alcohol, sports drinks, and coffee while in camp. We ask that hunters use moderation if they desire to drink while in camp. If you have special food needs or allegories please notify Nelson Story Archery Hunts before arrival so that we can make the proper arrangements.

Hunters will sleep together in canvas wall tents. These tents are equipped with wood burning stoves and access to hot water for make shift bathing. Towels & wash cloths will be provided. Each tent also has a lantern and canvas floor. Hunters will rest there heads on cots each night. Hunters will need to bring their own sleeping bags and any additional sleeping items they require. Please see the Equipment & Gear page for the additional items hunters will need to bring. There is an outdoor outhouse that hunters will have access to.

Meat Handling:
Our motto “you get it down we'll get it out! Nelson Story Archery Hunts will pack out your animal and make sure it is properly taken care of. Meat will be delivered to a third party processor, cut and wrapped to the hunters specifications. Arrangements to have the meat shipped home or taken on the airplane will be up to the hunter. All fees associated with the processing of the meat will be that of the hunters. Nelson Story Archery Hunts will make arrangements to have the horns shipped to hunters desired location at the cost of the hunter.

Limited Camp Occupancy:
Only 4-6 hunters will be in camp at one time. This allows the best odds for each hunter to take a bull. Too many people in camp can create low moral which transfers onto the hunting stage. Nelson Story Archery Hunts likes to keep a 2 -1 hunter to guide relationship.

Horses & Equipment:
If the need should arise, Nelson Story Archery Hunts will use horses and pack animals to access remote areas or to pack out animal. Saddle and tack will be supplied.
