Hunting is never predictable, that’s why’s it called hunting. There are never any guaranties that a hunter will harvest an animal. While there are resident elk on the ranch there will be times a hunter may only see a handful of elk each day.

While guided archery hunting is relatively new to the ranch, Nelson Story has been archery hunting and guiding rifle hunters for 18 years. Over the past 3 years of archery hunts Nelson & his guides have experienced a 70% success rate. While we are sure that this percentage will decrease, we will do ever thing in our power to give you the opportunity for a shot. The rest is up to you.
