Booking:
Nelson Story is now booking the following blocks below. The date ranges are solid and we ask hunters to pick from one of the three time frame options. Only 4-6 hunters are in camp at one time.

September 8 -14
September 15 - 21
September 22 - 28

Rates:
$4,000/week - 6 day hunt

Deposit & Cancellation:
A hunter/s will be “booked” when 50% of the total fee is received by Nelson Story Archery Hunts. The remaining balance of 50% will be due 20 days prior to the day in which the hunt begins.

The 50% deposit is forfeited/retained by Nelson Story Archery Hunts if a hunter fails to send in a completed hunting application/license to the Montana FWP by the deadline of March 15th. In addition if a hunter cancels the hunt after March 15th or fails to make the final remaining payment within the 20 day period prior to the start date of the hunt. If a hunter does not make the final payment within the 20 day payment window Nelson Story has the authority to cancel the hunt and charge a 15% cancelation fee. In addition if the payment is late Nelson Story Archery hunts will charge a 10% fee and has the option of canceling the hunt.

Licenses:
Applications can be done on the internet or on paper and mailed. Nonresidents may also try and draw out in the public drawing as well. Nonresidents have moderate to low success of drawing. Bowhunters must also show proof of a NBEF certificate or present a previous years archery stamp from any state. If you have not hunted in Montana after 2001 you will also be issued an ALS# by the state for identification purposes.
